Showreel | This is Mintyslippers

Here at Mintyslippers we have had such an amazing year with some equally amazing couples. I’m sure you will remember James and Heena, with their  two ceremonys and three dress changes, and also Jez and Cat with their wonderful first dance.
We thought it was about time we compiled some of these best bits into a new showreel to demonstrate just what Mintyslippers are about.

I think the best way to describe this piece is “The little things” – those magical moments which make your wedding day special, from the little laugh from your best man during the hymns, or the moment you realise your wedding ring doesn’t fit.  It’s all these things which make your wedding movie something special and that little bit un-expected.

So, without further ado I present to you “This is Mintyslippers”.

Danny - Hi Kapinak, Its a mixture of in camera pre-sets, a filter we use in Vegas and the gamma compression Vimeo seems to apply to all its conversions.

All CCD based video cameras will give a colour cast. Sonys gives a blue hue while other makes give a different colour. You just need to understand your camera and compensate for this in post.

Kapinak Broadsky - Hello,

I am a fellow wedding videographer and would love if you can share how and what format’s you used to compress the videos for viewing on line. I am trying to compress similar to yours but it shows all washed out. I’m using FCP / quicktime. Shot on panasonic 200a and 720p24p.

Thanks,
Kapinak

Bret G-Man - Guys, fantastic job you’ve done – I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before we’re working together on the same event…You’re the only videographers I’m recommending to any potential couples!

Danny - Thanks John, we’re trying our best to change the world one video at a time.

John - It’s so nice to see the cliche “wedding video” resoundingly defeated. Shame I’m living in the USA at present or my long suffering partner could talk me into a wedding based on your work.

Here’s to your future success.
