We heard from James and Heena today, giving us some feed back about the DVD’s that they had received a few months back, and this is what they had to say:

“I hope you are both well and you are booking up for 2009 – you deserve to be. Heena and I have seen the video over and over again. We have all been delighted.

I don’t know if I told you beforehand but I was originally very anti-video (I’m a photographer and always thought photos were plenty). Having seen your other highlight videos online I began to feel rather excited about film. The final DVD exceeded all my expectations. It managed to make both of us smile, laugh, cry and everything in between. It told a magnificent story.

The bride/groom introductions set the scene fantastically. The use of “I was born to love you” worked perfectly – it is one of my favourite songs and to see it put to our wedding was quite wonderful, especially the part when the bridesmaids came into the church followed but the B&W photo of Heena and her father; in fact the thought of it makes my heart beat faster!

The church ceremony was just the right length and we can’t stop laughing when we hear the cringe-invoking singing!

The photos section worked very well. Our favourite chapters tended to be those that were put to music.

You caught some lovely moments in the Indian wedding, particularly the close-up of our and Heena’s parents’ hands.

The final product is something we treasure. You have totally changed my view on wedding videos and I have already found myself trying to convince a friend of mine that a video is vital for his wedding in September.

Whilst the DVD is a work of art, something it cannot do is show how professional and pleasant you both were. It was a pleasure to share our wedding day with you and we are both so glad you enjoyed it.

We often see couple who are in love (it does help on your wedding day) but saw something extra special between Lorraine and Paul Currie. While editing we see a lot of footage but need to find those special moments, those little looks the couple give each other and for Lorraine and Paul these were not hard to find.

We had the pleasure of delivering their final DVD’s this week and here is what the happy couple had to say;

“Well, where do we start ? Well by saying a massive thank you would probably be a good place!

We absolutely love our wedding DVD and so does everyone who have watched it. You have captured the whole day perfectly ! In fact it was better than the actual day…lol

It was beautiful, tear jerking, funny, different, modern, romantic and also hilarious in places ! If anyone has any doubts about getting Mintyslippers to do their wedding video they needn’t have, you are both extremely talented and the DVD was very professional. It was worth the money 10 times over and it will last us for the rest of our lives…so thank you thank you thank you xxx

They received their DVD’s just a few days ago and Wendy had these very kind words to say about us.

“Sean and I have just finished watching it and I’m still wiping the tears away, it was sooooo beautiful and perfect!! The guys did such a fantastic job and I cannot thank mintyslippers enough for such a professional and fabulous service, they are so recommended all you brides to be out there that are contemplating getting one done!

We watched the ‘wedding’ bit at mums and she was so funny cos my dad kept talking through it about his hair and this that and the other and mum was yelling at him to keep quiet whilst she enjoyed it too!! We saved watching the ‘love story’ until we got home where we could be on our own knowing there were messages we gave to each other before the day, Im so glad I did cos I was so choked up at all the lovely things Sean said about me and his true honest feelings for me and vice versa, to see it all on film is the best feeling in the world. When you watch it all back you realise how much of it you actually miss on the day itself, all the ‘funky’ dancing by the relatives and friends and little things people do that you don’t see cos you are so busy being the centre of attention and that’s the best bit of it all really and it’s so nice to look back on it all and see all those bits that help make your day so wonderful.

We will cherish this DVD for ever and it will be watched again and again and again, in fact I will NEVER get fed up watching it.

So a huuuuuuuuuuuge thanks to Julie and Dan and they have helped make our whole wedding a really special time to remember.

I wish I could share it with the world but I’m sure you ladies have all got the gist of how I am feeling right now!!”

We often receive praise and thanks but this one really meant something special as it was just so heartfelt.
