We’d like to share some of our experiences with other interested folk, be you a videographer looking to become a filmmaker/cinematographer or a photographer looking to offer their clients...

Good luck with the training guys. Some could learn a great deal from you.

We recently had the pleasure of shooting a wedding for Julie & Joe Brett. We were especially pleased to shoot this one as the venue, Luton Hoo, was just on our doorstep and such an amazing venue that we had wanted to visit for some time. For this shoot we brought along our new assistant,...

Here at Mintyslippers we have had such an amazing year with some equally amazing couples. I’m sure you will remember James and Heena, with their two ceremonys and three dress changes, and also Jez and Cat with their wonderful first dance. Hi Kapinak, Its a mixture of in camera pre-sets, a filter we use in Vegas and the gamma compression Vimeo seems to apply to all its conversions.
All CCD based video cameras will give a colour cast. Sonys gives a blue hue while other makes give a different colour. You just need to understand your camera and compensate for this in post.
Hello,
I am a fellow wedding videographer and would love if you can share how and what format’s you used to compress the videos for viewing on line. I am trying to compress similar to yours but it shows all washed out. I’m using FCP / quicktime. Shot on panasonic 200a and 720p24p.
Thanks,
Kapinak
Guys, fantastic job you’ve done – I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before we’re working together on the same event…You’re the only videographers I’m recommending to any potential couples!

Thanks John, we’re trying our best to change the world one video at a time.
It’s so nice to see the cliche “wedding video” resoundingly defeated. Shame I’m living in the USA at present or my long suffering partner could talk me into a wedding based on your work.
Here’s to your future success.
Brilliant video! Very well done from filming to editing.

Some time ago we set about becoming Dolby® certified. To gain this accreditation we had to fill our a few forms, but more importantly we had to send our work to Dolby® labs for them to analyse, poke and prod to ensure the work we give our happy couples meets their high standards. We have...

We like to think of ourselves as part of the wedding video revolution that is taking place. Where boring, slow, all black and white video’s are a thing of the past and where new, up beat, make you wanna just smile video’s are taking over. Next year we are off to Austin Texas to take...

Looks like I’ll be not alone from Europe at Re:Frame09.
Best wishes Danny and Julie!
Hey Danny,
Looking forward to meeting you at re:frame in Austin!!
Dave.

… we sometimes whip out our still camera and snap away for some amazing candid shots which we sometimes use on the DVD menu’s and in the movie. Here are some pictures we took from Lorraine and Paul’s wedding this weekend. A quick whiz through Photoshop and here’s what we came up with. -Danny

Thankyou both so much for the time and effort you must have put into it. We are eternally grateful to you both.
