Here at Mintyslippers we have had such an amazing year with some equally amazing couples. I’m sure you will remember James and Heena, with their two ceremonys and three dress changes, and also Jez and Cat with their wonderful first dance. We thought it was about time we compiled some of these best bits into...

Hi Kapinak, Its a mixture of in camera pre-sets, a filter we use in Vegas and the gamma compression Vimeo seems to apply to all its conversions.
All CCD based video cameras will give a colour cast. Sonys gives a blue hue while other makes give a different colour. You just need to understand your camera and compensate for this in post.
Hello,
I am a fellow wedding videographer and would love if you can share how and what format’s you used to compress the videos for viewing on line. I am trying to compress similar to yours but it shows all washed out. I’m using FCP / quicktime. Shot on panasonic 200a and 720p24p.
Thanks,
Kapinak
Guys, fantastic job you’ve done – I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before we’re working together on the same event…You’re the only videographers I’m recommending to any potential couples!

Thanks John, we’re trying our best to change the world one video at a time.
It’s so nice to see the cliche “wedding video” resoundingly defeated. Shame I’m living in the USA at present or my long suffering partner could talk me into a wedding based on your work.
Here’s to your future success.
Brilliant video! Very well done from filming to editing.

Music plays such an important part if everything that we produce. The first thing we do with any of our features is to look at the footage, get a feel for the pace and the mood it sets. Then we set to work finding the music which fits our newly married couple. In the case...

Congratulations for your works.
I follow you in Vimeo everyday. To you, Balasko, Ridley Denver, Ray Roman, Kieron Tan, etc…
I love your work.
Thank you.

Never have we been more scared about filming a wedding than that of Marc & Kate Butler. You see, Marc is a director from the telly box (Strictly Come Dancing no less) and many of his guests also work in the same field. So here is a groom who knows his biscuits when it comes...

Thanks John, loving your work also and good to see you at re:frame (don’t think we had a chance to properly meet up).
Danny:
Loved watching this all the way through. Very tight clean edit. Great pace and music score drove this very well.
Danny, this rocks! Awesome cinematic feel in the shooting, colouring and cinemascope aspect. Love the slider shots.
… and you know you have a great Beatles cover band when Paul McCartney is left handed
Thank’s Kevin, I have to also give you kudos for your amazing work. Especially the bollywood concept. For anyone who has yet to see this I urge you to take a look http://vimeo.com/2400836
Wow, Danny, this is an incredible piece. Very polished imagery and some great slider work. Your edit & song selection add meaning & really bring the whole piece together. Cheers!

Some of you might remember James and Heena. They got married at the end of November 2008, and had two ceremonies in one day, a traditional white wedding, followed by a Hindu ceremony. Everything about that day was magical, their families were so proud and glowing, and the couple themselves were a match made in...
